Overview of summer storage and cleaning of PE tarpaulins

May 15, 2023|

PE tarpaulin is widely used to protect items and materials from rainwater, which brings great convenience and benefits to users. Summers are hot and rainy. Oilcloth is prone to moisture and rot in hot and humid environments. If you do not pay attention to conservation and scientific preservation, it will seriously affect the service life of the tarpaulin. Therefore, in the hot summer, it is necessary to keep the lid well. As a manufacturer specializing in the production of PE tarps, I would like to give you some suggestions for the storage of PE tarps in summer:

1. Spread the lid upwards with two ropes (D indicates the angle) and bend both sides of the lid towards the longitudinal center of the lid.

2. Divide both sides of the lid into three equal parts. Connect the two sides twice with the longitudinal centerline.

3. Tie tightly with the reserved rope, tie it tightly on both sides, tie it tightly, and do not loosen it. The number and crease of the tarp must be clearly visible.

Overview of polyethylene tarpaulin cleaning:

When the lid is not used temporarily, it should be simply cleaned to prevent the contents of the lid from rotting and corroding the lid. The tarp can be cleaned regularly. Here's how:

1. Press evenly when washing. Do not brush your teeth too hard to avoid short lines or scars.

2. Non-professional cleaning workers should use clean water and detergents, and do not contact acids, salts and other chemicals to prevent glue corrosion and deformation.

3. The cleaned tarpaulin should be placed in a cool, poorly ventilated place to dry. Do not bake in hot weather and do not bake in hot places. In order to prevent the paste from falling off and accelerating aging, the awning is placed in a cool place to dry, which avoids the above problems and improves the success rate of the tarpaulin.
