Tarpaulin is a high-strength, toughness and softness waterproof material, often used as canvas (oil canvas), polyurethane-coated polyester or made into polyethylene plastic. The tarpaulin usually has a sturdy grommeted loop at the corner or edge for easy use to tie, hang or cover with a rope.
